LO1 - Camera equipment

 

 

The ISO has been altered in these photographs to generate light and dark images, which will aid us in filming our documentary because if the sun is too bright, we can lower it so that less light passes through the lens. Also, if we are filming at night, we can increase the ISO to allow more light to get through the lens, resulting in a much brighter video.

For our documentary we needed to focus on the ISO and Aperture on the camera as well as this would mean that the subject in the documentary is clearly visible as we would not be letting too much light into our camera which is what would have happened if we had not checked and changed the settings. When changing location we then also had to change the ISO and aperture due to the sun being at a different angle so the camera was letting too much light into the camera. In these videos it shows that we know how to manipulate the settings to get the desired affect on the camera. It also shows how we can use the attachments in conjunction with the camera to get the best shots for the documentary. The microphone that is used to block out the wind and so that the camera can hear the subject and not the wind.
